Ok but could be better...
1. Good level of adjustability but...
2. Where the hinge is there is not much that can be done. Unfortunately the padding is very hard and rubs on the ankles. As I got it due to a grade 3 ankle sprain, this was quite uncomfortable. Bit disappointing given the cost. I would recommend trying one out and see if it fits as even adding extra padding etc didnt really help me.

Overnight Delivery of a Comfortable Ankle Brace
I have been using various versions (low or extended support) of the Donjoy Velocity ankle brace for a few years. The comfort level is pretty ordinary with the join to the footplate causing some rubbing after a full day. The Ossur Rebound is a more comfortable equivalent, though it costs a bit more. With most ankle braces the sizing is done by the ankle circumference or the width from the ankle joint to under the ball of the heel and this doesn't allow much adjustment. The Rebound brace is sized by your foot size. The brace can be adjusted for ankle circumference with about 6 settings using width adjustment snaps. The strap supplied can also add more support without taking up much more space in a shoe or boot. I can recommend this brace as support when you transition out of a walker boot (moon boot) to provide that extra support.
