The best ankle brace I could ever ask for.
I’ve been struggling with an ankle injury for a year and a half. I haven’t been able to walk a distance and also do prolonged standing during this period of time. My company provided me a light duty job position as a retail store sales. ( compare with my preinjury job, it is a so much lighter duty job position) I was so bad at standing a period of time for the first 14months. The pain hit me so badly when I standing up for too long, it could be 15mins from the beginning early last year and now it could be nearly 2hrs. I had to have so much pain relief tablets and panadol Osteos everyday until 2months ago.
I bought this ankle brace in April this year. When I wear it, I also wear a sock and another stronger ankle brace on top inside of my left shoe to just make sure my ankle is well-protected and stays still at where it should be most of the time of the day.
This Ossur ankle brace just supports my ankle along where the peroneus longus and brevis tendons are. This area has given me so much pain and it gets really swollen after I am over my limit. I can see the improvements now after it gets the extra support from the Ossur ankle brace for 2.5months. The pain finally start settling a bit.
So that’s why I say - this is probably the best ankle brace I could ever ask for! Worth to give it a try if you have been suffering from an ankle injury for a while.
